Macau.- The Special Administrative Region (SAR) government has re-authorised three gaming concessionaires to provide on-site currency exchange services at their casino properties.
Under an order issued by Macau’s chief executive and published in the Official Gazette, the re-authorisations for Galaxy Entertainment Group, Melco Resorts & Entertainment and SJM Holdings, will take effect from tomorrow (February 24, 2026), allowing the three concessionaires to operate currency exchange businesses within their gaming venues “at their own risk.”
For Galaxy Entertainment Group, authorised sites include StarWorld Casino, Galaxy Macau Casino and Broadway Casino; for Melco Resorts & Entertainment, approved venues span Studio City Casino, City of Dreams Casino, Altira Macau Casino and multiple Mocha Club outlets; and for SJM Holdings, permitted locations include Lisboa Casino, Grand Lisboa Casino, Grand Lisboa Palace Casino, Oceanus Casino and Casino L’Arc.
The latest approvals amend earlier authorisations granted in 2024 in accordance with Decree-Law No. 39/97/M.
