The Australian regulator says the sites violated the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.
Australia.- The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has requested that Australian online service providers (ISPs) block 12 more unlicensed online gambling sites after investigations found them to be operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.
The sites are Abu King, BetAlice, Dragon Slots, Nova Jackpot, Power Up Casino, QuickWin, Roby Casino, Rocketspin, Rooster Bet, Vegasino, Vegas Now, and Winbay.
Since the ACMA made its first blocking request in November 2019, it says 1,455 illegal gambling and affiliate websites have been blocked. It says 220 illegal services have pulled out of the Australian market since it started enforcing illegal online gambling rules in 2017.
