The Australian regulator says the sites violated the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.
Australia.- The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has requested that Australian online service providers (ISPs) block nine more unlicensed online gambling sites for violating the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. The sites are Cashed, King Maker, Posido, Spinight, Spinsy, next2go-au.com (an imitation of the licensed Next2Go service), The Pokies Reviews, Topio Networks, wizbet.app (an imitation of the licensed WizBet service).
ACMA says it has blocked1,369 illegal gambling and affiliate websites since November 2019. Last month, it issued a series of warning letters to operators based in jurisdictions including Curaçao, the Netherlands and the Comoros Islands. Earlier in October, it issued blocking orders against Crown Gold, Maxispin Casino, Rain.gg, Didibet, LuckyBet, Malina Casino, Spins of Glory.
