Australia.- The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has shared BetStop statistics for the second quarter of the financial year 2025-2026. It reported that as of December 31, 2025, 35,135 people had active exclusions while 19,724 people had completed their self-exclusion or cancelled early.
New South Wales topped the list of jurisdictions with the most registrants at 17,132, followed by Victoria with 14,699 and Queensland with 11,208. Northern Territory was the jurisdiction with the fewest registrants at 437.
There were 5,477 new registrations in the quarter, an increase of 20.61 per cent in quarter-on-quarter terms. Some 1,649 people registered in New South Wales, up 11 per cent quarter-on-quarter, while 1,535 registered in Victoria and 1,130 in Queensland, up 33.8 per cent and 21 per cent, respectively.
According to ACMA, 45 per cent of registrants were under the age of 30, 33 per cent were 31 to 40 and 14 per cent were 41 to 50. Some 38 per cent decided to self-exclude for life while an equal percentage chose to self-exclude from three months to two years.

BetStop covers all licensed Australian interactive wagering service providers, both online and telephone-based. Operators are prohibited from opening accounts or accepting bets for self-excluded people and from sending them promotional material.
