Australia.- Ainsworth Game Technology has appointed Ryan Comstock as chief executive officer, effective immediately. He has been acting CEO for six months since October 2025, when he stepped in following the resignation of Harald Neumann.
Comstock previously served as chief operating officer, a position he had held since 2018. According to the company, the board determined he possesses the “necessary attributes and experience gained across all operational areas of the company” to lead the group on a permanent basis.
In its ASX filing, Ainsworth said the board considered Comstock’s operational knowledge and initiatives undertaken during his tenure as acting CEO when making the decision. The company said Comstock has secured the necessary gaming regulatory licensing approvals through his previous executive roles, allowing for an immediate transition into the position.
Under the terms of his employment agreement, Comstock will receive an annual base salary of US$625,000 and will be eligible to participate in the company’s 2026 short-term incentive plan He will retain his existing long-term incentive arrangement, including 400,000 cash-settled performance rights subject to service conditions and performance hurdles.
