Betfair aims to launch CrownBet in the first quarter of 2026.
Australia.- BetMakers Technology Group has signed an exclusive five-year agreement with Betfair Australia to serve as the sole technology provider for the launch of CrownBet. The new wagering brand is scheduled to debut in early 2026.
Under the deal, BetMakers will deliver its wagering stack, including a customised deployment of its Apollo platform, trading and risk management services, a content engine and the platform’s core technologies. Commercial terms include a blend of fixed fees and revenue-share payments.
Martin Tripp, BetMakers COO, said the partnership validates the scalability and flexibility of the Apollo platform. “To be selected by Betfair to power the return of CrownBet demonstrates the performance of our technology stack. By combining our platform with Betfair’s industry expertise, we are confident we can deliver a market-leading wagering experience,” he said.
Amy Zavros, Betfair CEO, highlighted that the company is expanding its product offering by introducing fixed-odds wagering under the CrownBet brand. “Following a rigorous evaluation process, BetMakers was the clear choice. Their technology and services provide the foundation we need to bring CrownBet to market at scale and complement our betting exchange,” she added.
