When I look at esports today, I see more than competition. I see a global movement that has grown from passion into a powerful cultural and sporting force, connecting millions of people across borders, languages, and generations.
But with growth comes responsibility.
Esports has reached a moment where it must move beyond fragmentation and begin building the structures that will sustain it for decades to come. That is the role we have embraced at the International Esports Federation.
As President of the IESF, my responsibility is not simply to lead an organization. My responsibility is to help shape the future of an entire ecosystem, one that belongs to athletes, national federations, communities, and fans around the world.
When IESF was founded, the vision was clear: to establish an international governing body that represents esports with integrity, inclusivity, and long-term purpose. Over the years, that vision has grown into an international federation representing more than 150 member nations, each working together to elevate esports as a recognized sport and a platform for global unity.
But the work is far from finished.
Today, esports is entering a new era, one where coordination, governance, and international cooperation will determine whether the industry continues to mature or remains divided.
This is why we speak about building One Federation for the World of Esports.
A federation that unites national bodies under a shared framework.
A federation that protects athletes and ensures fair play.
A federation that builds bridges between regions and cultures.
And a federation that provides the stability needed for esports to thrive for generations.
No single individual can achieve this vision alone.
That is why I am honored to work alongside an extraordinary Board, twelve leaders from across the global esports community who bring experience, perspective, and dedication to our mission.
Together, we guide IESF with one goal: to create a stronger, more unified future for esports.
Leadership in esports today is not about control, it is about responsibility. It is about listening to the community, empowering national federations, and ensuring that the next generation of players inherits a system that is fair, sustainable, and truly international.
Every athlete who competes under their national flag, every federation that joins our movement, and every fan who believes in the power of esports helps shape this future.
The World of Esports is being built now.
And together, through one federation, we are ensuring that it is built to last.
