Australia.- Brightstar Lottery PLC has won a 19-year contract with Lotterywest, Western Australia’s state lottery, to deliver a new platform. Jumbo Interactive will participate as a subcontractor, providing components, including online interface functionality from its Jumbo Lottery Platform.
The contract covers a new central gaming system, 775 retailer terminals and software solutions to streamline Lotterywest’s back-office operations. Jumbo Interactive will supply website and mobile apps for Lotterywest’s digital system, plus parts of its Player Account Management module. Its existing software-as-a-service deal with Lotterywest’s OzLotteries will continue unaffected.
The platform switch will happen in phases starting Q3 2027. Binding agreements of the Jumbo-Brightstar subcontract are yet to be finalised.
