The International Esports Federation, together with Busan Metropolitan City, has announced the launch of the World Esports Idea Quest 2025. Part of the World Esports R&D Program 2025, this competition calls on participants worldwide to propose creative ideas that connect esports with Busan’s tourism industry.
Busan has been a central stage for esports while also being known as one of Asia’s most vibrant cultural and tourism destinations. WE Idea Quest 2025 focuses on projects that design tourism products combining Busan’s unique attractions with its esports history, creating experiences where visitors can enjoy both the city and the excitement of esports.

- Subject : Planning an Esports Tourism Product by Utilizing Busan Tourism Resources
- Submission Period: September 29 (Mon) – November 9 (Sun), 2025
- Winner Announcement: December 19 (Fri), 2025
- Eligibility: Open to anyone worldwide (English submissions only)

Selection Process
- First Evaluation: Document review by the Evaluation Committee
- Second Evaluation: Online presentation before the Evaluation Committee
Awards
- 1st Place: 3,000,000 KRW (approx. 2,100 USD)
- 2nd Place: 2,000,000 KRW (approx. 1,400 USD)
- 3rd Place: 1,500,000 KRW (approx. 1,050 USD)
