Australia.- The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) has hosted representatives from Cambodia’s Commercial Gambling Management Commission (CGMC) as part of a study visit focused on strengthening cooperation and the sharing of regulatory expertise.
According to the Victorian regulator, the visit provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge on casino regulation, compliance and enforcement, risk-based regulatory approaches, responsible gambling initiatives and Victoria’s Public Lotteries licence framework.
The VGCCC said there was an “open dialogue and knowledge exchange” exploring opportunities to strengthen regulatory capability and the development of evidence-based gambling regulation. The visit forms part of the CGMC’s study tour in Australia, aimed at learning from regulatory practices and exchanging experience on gambling oversight.
