Hu Jianguo has been appointed to the board of directors following the resignation of Tang Yong.
The Philippines.- DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has announced the appointment of Hu Jianguo to its board of directors following the resignation of long-time director Tang Yong. According to a Philippine Stock Exchange disclosure, Tang’s resignation took effect on Tuesday (February 17). He will remain in an advisory capacity to support continuity.
Hu joins the nomination, compensation and executive committees. He holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China and more than two decades of experience spanning platform innovation, gaming operations and enterprise-scale technology leadership including in technical roles at Huawei Technologies.
Prior to his board appointment, he played a role in DigiPlus’s transformation from a land-based gaming operator to a leading tech-powered digital entertainment brand in the Philippines.
“He brings not only technical depth, but the vision, clarity, and global perspective required to lead a digital entertainment brand on the rise,” the company said.
