Net income was down by 59 per cent year-on-year in the July-September period.
The Philippines.- DigiPlus Interactive Corp has shared its financial results for the third quarter of 2025. Net income was PHP1.71bn (US$29m), down 59 per cent when compared to the same period of 2024.
The company, which operates BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone, reported revenue of PHP19bn (US$323m), a 23 per cent decrease compared to the July-September period of 2024. EBITDA reached PHP2bn (US$34m), down 55 per cent from a year ago. Taxes and regulatory fees totalled PHP7.17bn (US$122m), down 26 per cent.
The company said the performance was affected by the “impact of tighter regulation”. In August, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) required e-wallet providers to delink in-app access to licensed online gaming platforms.
Despite the dip in third-quarter earnings, the company saw growth for the first nine months. Consolidated net income was PHP10.11bn (US$172m) for the first nine months of 2025, a 16 per cent increase from the same period in 2024. Revenue rose 30 per cent to PHP66.83bn (US$1.14bn) and EBITDA reached PHP11.13bn (US$189.2m), up 19 per cent.
DigiPlus chairman Eusebio Tanco said: “This period demonstrates DigiPlus’ resilience amid temporary setbacks. Throughout this period, we continue to focus on digital innovation, player protection, and good governance. As we grow our business and expand responsibly into new markets, we remain focused on upholding global corporate governance and responsible gaming standards, while creating positive impact on the Filipino nation.”
