A Lahore Court has rejected the YouTuber’s plea.
Pakistan.- A Lahore court has rejected the bail application of Saad ur Rehman, AKA Ducky Bhai, who is accused of promoting of illegal gambling applications. Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo dismissed the plea on Monday and said the YouTuber’s alleged actions had a significant impact on society, particularly on young audiences.
Ducky Bhai was arrested on August 17 at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport. The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) accuses him of promoting illegal gambling apps and acting as a country manager for one of them. Authorities allege that he managed large financial transactions.

The charges against Rehman include electronic forgery, fraud, spamming, and spoofing under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 and cheating and dishonest inducement under sections of the Pakistan Penal Code. If convicted, he faces hefty fines and potential imprisonment.
During the bail hearing, Rehman’s lawyer, Advocate Chaudhry Usman Ali, said the accusations were politically motivated. The defence claimed the apps were not banned at the time of promotion and that charges under Sections 294-B and 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code are bailable. However, the prosecution, led by Zaina Zaheer, presented evidence from Rehman’s electronic devices, including voice chats with Binomo officials, linking him to illegal apps. Magistrate Wattoo ruled that Rehman failed to deny his ties to the apps or explain seized funds.
