The operator has reported stronger social impact and sustainability progress amid its “RWS 2.0 transformation”.

Singapore.- Genting Singapore has reported on its environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts in 2025. According to its latest sustainability report, community initiatives reached more than 24,700 beneficiaries during the year.

Genting Singapore contributed over SGD2.1m (US$1.6m) in cash and in-kind support, while employees logged 1,687 volunteer hours. Key initiatives included the Youth Ocean Ambassador programme, aimed at promoting marine conservation among young people, and the Season of Good campaign, which provided access to attractions within the resort for selected groups.

The company also expanded its support for the arts sector, launching a SGD200,000 (US$156,000) seed fund in partnership with Singapore’s National Arts Council to support smaller organisations. In collaboration with ART:DIS Singapore, artworks created by artists with disabilities were displayed across all rooms at The Laurus hotel, a luxury property opened in 2025.

Genting Singapore highlighted progress under its 2030 Sustainability Master Plan. New developments linked to the RWS 2.0 expansion have been designed to meet green standards, with a focus on energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.

Lim Kok Thay, executive chairman and acting chief executive of Genting Singapore, said that the group’s achievements in terms of sustainability were “not ends in themselves,” but “milestones in a longer journey”.
