The operator has posted double-digit earnings growth, boosted by stronger VIP volumes, high-end hospitality launches and renewed visitor momentum.
Singapore.- Genting Singapore has delivered robust results for the third quarter of 2025, driven by a rebound in VIP gaming activity and strength in non-gaming operations. The operator of Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) posted revenue of SGD649.8m (US$473m) for the three months ended September 30, up 16 per cent year-on-year. Adjusted EBITDA jumped 36 per cent to SGD222.7m (US$162m). Net profit rose 19 per cent to SGD94.6m (US$69m).
GGR rose 21.9 per cent year-on-year to SGD402.3m (US$308m), with the mass segment accounting for 59 per cent. Non-gaming revenue rose 37 per cent quarter-on-quarter, supported by higher hotel occupancy and event visitation.
Analysts from Maybank Research said results were in line with expectations. The group’s core net profit reached SGD113.2m (US$86m), up 25 per cent year-on-year, bringing its nine-month total to SGD361.8m (US$276m), roughly 72 per cent of Maybank’s full-year forecast.
According to Nomura, RWS captured roughly 28 per cent of Singapore’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) in Q3. RWS benefited from the opening of the Singapore Oceanarium and the WEAVE lifestyle precinct. Further momentum is expected in the fourth quarter following the October opening of The Laurus, Singapore’s first Luxury Collection all-suite hotel with Marriott International.
Genting Singapore reaffirmed that the RWS 2.0 redevelopment is “progressing well.” Key components include a new 88-meter waterfront light sculpture by Heatherwick Studio and the Super Nintendo World attraction at Universal Studios Singapore.
