GLI said it will support PAGCOR’s policy goals by providing expertise in gaming regulation and data security.
The Philippines.- Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has been accredited as an Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). It’s the first company authorised to test and certify online gaming platforms in the Philippines.
GLI said it will support PAGCOR’s policy goals by providing global expertise in gaming regulation, testing and certification, and data security. It said its testing framework, based on the globally recognised GLI-19 Standard, will help ensure that igaming platforms meet the strict regulatory and technical standards required by the regulator.
James R. Maida, GLI president and CEO, said: “We are grateful to PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco and to the entire PAGCOR team for the trust they continue to place in GLI. Under the Chairman’s skilful leadership, the market in the Philippines has improved steadily, and we are honoured to be the first company to be accredited for igaming testing and certification.
