South Korea.– Grand Korea Leisure (GKL) has reported stable casino sales of KRW34.8bn (US$25m) in September 2025. The performance reflects a modest 0.8 per cent decline from August but a 1.4 per cent increase compared to September 2024.
Table games generated KRW31.4bn (US$22.6m), up 0.6 per cent from August, while machine gaming revenue fell 12.4 per cent month-on-month to KRW3.4bn (US$2.4m). Machine gaming revenue was up 26 per cent year-on-year. The total amount wagered in September was KRW316bn (US$227m), down 0.8 per cent from August but up 13.8 per cent year-on-year.
For the first nine months of 2025, GKL’s cumulative casino sales reached KRW318.7bn (US$229m), a 10.9 per cent increase from the same period in 2024. Table game sales rose 10.6 per cent to KRW289.3bn (US$208m), and machine game revenue 13.9 per cent to KRW29.4bn ($21.1m).
