Hong Kong.- The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) has announced the appointment of Terecina Kwong as executive director, membership and customer excellence (EDMCE) with effect from September 17. Kwong, who has held senior roles at HSBC, will be a member of the board of management and report directly to the club’s chief executive officer, Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges.
She will lead the club’s membership strategy to create lifestyle and culinary experiences for members and will oversee the clubhouse and racecourse operations in Hong Kong and Mainland.

HKJC recently announced the appointment of Martin Liao as chairman of the club for 2025/26 and Lester Huang as deputy chairman. Liao, the 27th chairman in the club’s history, succeeds Michael T H Lee, who stood down from the Board of Stewards at the conclusion of the 2025 AGM after 19 years as a steward, the past three as chairman.
