India.- Police have arrested 10 people in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, for alleged betting on an IPL cricket match between Gujrat Titans and Kings Eleven Punjab. Officers said a large-scale cricket betting syndicate was operating out of a flat in Wakad. During a raid, they seized cash and equipment worth ₹6.58 lakh. Two suspects escaped.

According to The Hindustan Times, a case has been registered at Wakad police station under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 4 and 5 of the Maharashtra Gambling Act.
