The resort’s visitor numbers set a new record.
South Korea.- Jeju Dream Tower, the foreign-only integrated resort operated by Lotte Tour Development on South Korea’s Jeju Island, has reported KRW42.99bn (US$32.2m) in revenue for August. That’s up 30.5 per cent from August 2024 but down 1 per cent from July 2025.
Visitor numbers reached a record 57,042, surpassing July’s 56,691 visitors by 0.62 per cent. The number was up 52.1 per cent year-over-year. Table games generated revenue of KRW41.17bn (US$30.8m), up 38.5 per cent year-over-year and 0.9 per cent from July. Machine games generated KRW1.82bn (US$1.4m), down 43.5 per cent year-over-year and 2.2 per cent compared to July.
Hotel operations generated KRW8.37bn (US$6.3m), up 6.1 per cent from July but down 15.7 per cent year-over-year.
For the eight-month period from January to August, cumulative casino revenue totalled KRW280.99bn (US$210.7m), 46.1 per cent increase over the same period in 2024. Table games generated KRW267.39bn (US$200.5m), up 49.2 per cent, and machines KRW13.60bn (US$10.2m), up 3.2 per cent year-on-year.
