Australia.- Aristocrat Leisure and Light & Wonder has settled their legal battle in Australia and the US, resolving allegations that Light & Wonder misused Aristocrat’s trade secrets and copyrighted material while developing its Dragon Train and Jewel of the Dragon games.
The settlement will see Light & Wonder pay Aristocrat US$127.5m and acknowledge that it used certain Aristocrat mathematical data in developing Dragon Train and Jewel of the Dragon. It will also permanently cease global distribution of the games and work to remove existing installations.

The companies agreed to confidential procedures to identify and resolve any issues related to Aristocrat math in Light & Wonder’s existing and future hold-and-spin games.
