Macau casino resorts to host over 60 shows in fourth quarter

Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd continues to top the market, but numbers are down from the previous quarter.

Macau.- Casino resorts in Macau will host more than 60 shows in the fourth quarter, marking a 38 per cent decline from the previous quarter when nearly 100 shows were staged.

Of the total, 22 shows will be presented in October, 25 in November, and 20 in December. This does not include sports events and residential theatrical productions like Macau 2049 or House of Dancing Water. Most of these events will also take place at Cotai venues, such as City of Dreams and The Venetian Macau.

Galaxy Entertainment Group continues to top the market. The operator has scheduled 44 shows across its venues for Q4 2025, including Galaxy Arena, where five will be held, G Box at Galaxy Macau, and the Galaxy Auditorium of GICC, all situated on the Cotai Strip.

Shows that have been staged so far include an October 4 concert by Chinese singer Luhan, and three concerts by Hong Kong pop star Jackson Wang from October 10-12. Galaxy Entertainment has extended its deal with Damai Entertainment Holdings and Macau Pass Holding to host more cultural and entertainment events in the jurisdiction.

Sands China has at least 17 shows planned for the fourth quarter, mostly at The Venetian Macao’s Venetian Arena or The Londoner Macao’s Londoner Arena. The lineup includes mandopop artist Eric Moo’s concert scheduled for Saturday, October 18, Wakin Chau on November 7-8, and Grasshopper on November 29.

MGM Resorts International (Macau and Cotai venues), Melco Resorts & Entertainment (Studio City), and SJM Holdings (Grand Lisboa Palace) will also host various events in the coming months.
