Gross gaming revenue for 2025 was up 9 per cent in year-on-year terms.
Macau.- The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) has reported that Macau’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) for 2025 was MOP247.40bn (US$30.9bn). That’s a rise of 9.1 per cent year-on-year and surpasses the government forecast of MOP228bn.
The figure represents 84.6 per cent of the 2019 total of MOP292.46bn (US$36.5 billion) before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Contributing to the performance was strong December GGR, up 14.8 per cent year-on-year to MOP20.89bn (US$2.61bn). It was the strongest December performance since the Covid-19 pandemic but 0.9 per cent behind November’s GGR of MOP21.09bn (US$2.63bn).
