Gross gaming revenue reached US$2.8bn.
Macau.- The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) has reported that Macau’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) was MOP22.6bn (US$2.8bn) in March. That’s an increase of 15 per cent in year-on-year terms and 9.6 per cent from February (MOP20.63bn).
Cumulatively, Macau’s GGR for the three months of 2026 was MOP65.87bn (US$8.17bn), up 14.3 per cent year-on-year but 13.5 per cent below pre-pandemic levels (US$9.44bn).
Citigroup said the premium mass gaming segment looked solid in March. According to its survey, the average wager per premium mass player rose 17 per cent year-on-year to HKD20,689 (US$2,640) while the number of players fell 16 per cent to 543. Total wagers for the segment were flat at HKD11.2m (US$1.4m).
