Macau.- Data from the Public Security Police Force shows that Macau recorded close to 666,000 visitor arrivals between April 3 and April 7, averaging roughly 133,000 arrivals per day. On April 7, the final day of the Easter and Ching Ming holiday period, more than 642,000 passenger crossings were recorded, including 188,000 visitor entries.
Passenger traffic across all Macau checkpoints surpassed 3.48 million during the period, with visitors accounting for more than 1.34 million trips. The rest of the traffic came from outgoing residents and returning commuters, a common pattern during major holiday periods. Key border crossings such as the Border Gate, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge checkpoint, and the Hengqin port handled the bulk of arrivals.
Most visitors opting for short stays or same-day trips rather than extended tourism.
