Macau’s VIP baccarat revenue was MOP20.31bn (US$2.5bn).
Macau.- The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) has reported that VIP baccarat gaming revenue was up 20.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter in the fourth quarter of the year at MOP20.31bn (US$2.5bn). In year-on-year terms, the figure was up 45 per cent. VIP baccarat accounted for 30.7 per cent of all GGR in the October-December period.
The DICJ reported mass-market revenue, including slot machines, of MOP45.75bn (US$5.72bn), up 5.3 per cent year-on-year, and slightly up 0.1 per cent sequentially. Non-VIP Baccarat play revenue reached MOP36.25bn (US$4.53bn), up 4.8 per cent year-on-year and down 0.7 per cent sequentially. Slot machines revenue reached MOP3.63bn (US$454m), up 5.5 per cent quarter-to-quarter, and 7.8 per cent year-on-year. Meanwhile, Live Multi Game revenue came in at MOP1.25bn (US$156m).
As for the overall 2025 revenue, VIP baccarat accounted for 27.5 per cent of Macau’s total. VIP baccarat contributed MOP67.98bn (US$8.45bn) in gross revenue last year, representing 27.5 per cent of Macau’s total MOP247.40bn (US$30.93bn) in games-of-fortune revenue.
The remaining 72.5 per cent came from mass-market play, underscoring the structural dominance of non-VIP gaming in the world’s largest casino hub. Mass baccarat generated MOP142.65bn (US$17.83bn), more than double the VIP segment, while slot machines added MOP13.87bn (US$1.73bn).
