Macau.- MGM China and the Macau Federation of Trade Unions (FAOM) have held a “Family Financial Budgeting Competition and Responsible Gaming Carnival”. It featured a parent-child financial budgeting competition, interactive game booths and workshops designed to strengthen family communication and promote financial literacy.
Hands-on activities focused on money management and rational consumption as well as responsible gaming. An orienteering race was co-organised with the Macao New Chinese Youth Association
“These efforts underscore the company’s unwavering commitment to the city’s long-term social sustainability. Looking ahead, MGM will continue to deepen cross-sector collaboration, promoting responsible gaming and financial education in schools and communities, with the aim of contributing to Macau’s development as a better and healthier city,” MGM China said.
MGM China reported net revenue of $1.08bn for the third quarter, an increase of 17 per cent from $929.45m in the same period last year. The growth was primarily driven by the main floor table games drop, which increased by 18 per cent year-on-year to $4.07bn. The operator’s casino revenue experienced an 18 per cent increase to $947m, while segment adjusted EBITDA was up by 19.67 per cent to $283.99m.
