Thailand.- MGM has entered a deal with Thai retail developer EM District. Business delegations will travel to MGM’s Macau resorts, while Macau tourism information booths will be installed across retail locations in Thailand. A Gala Dinner was held on Thursday, March 5, at MGM COTAI, attended by company executives and Macau tourism officials.
According to the operator, a visiting delegation toured MGM’s MICE facilities and learned about the Macau-Hengqin cross-border exhibition model. They also participated in guided art tours and visited major Macau landmarks, including Senado Square, A-Ma Temple, Kuan Tai Temple, Kun Iam Temple, and Taipa Village.

Iwan Dietschi, senior vice president of hospitality at MGM, said Thailand has become a significant market for MGM, with a a 26 per cent year-on-year increase in Thai hotel guests in 2025.
