The New South Wales Government has appointed of new and returning board members.
Australia.- The New South Wales government has confirmed a series of appointments at Racing NSW and Greyhound Racing NSW. Jane Flemming OAM OLY and David Tierney have been named members of the Racing NSW board for four-year terms until December 2029.
Flemming is a former Olympian, while Tierney has more than 35 years of experience in construction and venue management as well as roles in Commonwealth and NSW government contexts.
Meanwhile, the government has re- appointed Adam Casselden SC, along with Louise Wakefield, Paul Gentle and Greg Johnson to the Greyhound Racing NSW board for three-year terms ending in December 2028. Wakefield will be deputy chair. Craig Meagher has also been appointed to the board.
The Greyhound Welfare & Integrity Commission will continue to be led by Brenton (Alby) Taylor with Fiona Jolly re-appointed as commissioner for a further two years through January 2028.
