Strong Paradise City performance drove record results for the South Korean casino operator.

South Korea.- Paradise Co has reported its strongest full-year results yet with record annual revenue of KRW 1.15tn (US$789m) and operating profit of KRW 156.4bn (US$107m) for fiscal year 2025. Net profit rose 30.1 per cent year-on-year to KRW 144.1bn (US$99m).

Casino sales across its portfolio of Paradise City (Incheon), Walkerhill (Seoul), Busan Casino and Jeju Grand generated KRW 115.12bn (US$79.1m), up 2.5 per cent on the prior year.

Paradise City, the flagship integrated resort developed with Sega Sammy Holdings, posted a record quarterly revenue of KRW 156.11bn (US$100.3m) in 4Q25, up 20.9 per cent year-on-year and slightly higher sequentially. Casino sales at the property rose 24.8 per cent to KRW 124.35 bn (US$85.4m), driven by strong mass play and a modest improvement in hold rate.

EBITDA grew 94.7 per cent year-on-year to KRW 25.29bn (US$17.4m), although it was down 18.8 per cent sequentially as higher taxes, labour and marketing costs weighed on quarterly earnings.

Results at the group’s other casinos were mixed in the final quarter. Sales across Walkerhill, Busan and Jeju properties reached KRW 106bn (US$72.8m), down 1.7 per cent year-on-year, underpinned by a 7.9 per cent fall in casino drop. EBITDA for these properties fell 74.1 per cent year-on-year and 67.4 per cent sequentially to KRW 5.73bn (US$3.9m).

Walkerhill’s revenue dropped 8.2 per cent to KRW 76.9bn (US$52.8m), while Busan Casino delivered growth of 29.6 per cent to KRW 20.3bn (US$13.9m) in the quarter.

The company continues to expand capacity. Paradise and Sega Sammy completed the acquisition of 501 additional hotel rooms adjacent to Paradise City through the Grand Hyatt Incheon West Tower purchase, increasing total room inventory from 769 to 1,270 units.
