Paradise Entertainment reports drop in full-year profit

Results were affected by the closure of Casino Kam Pek Paradise in Macau.

Hong Kong.- Paradise Entertainment has reported a decline in profit for 2025, as the closure of its Macau casino operations weighed on results. The group posted a profit of HKD139.4m (US$17.8m), down 63.5 per cent year-on-year. Revenue fell 23.1 per cent to HKD834.4m (US$106m), reflecting weaker performance across both its gaming equipment segment and casino management business.

A key factor behind the decline was the cessation of operations at Casino Kam Pek Paradise, which stopped operating in December amid regulatory changes that led to the closure of most satellite casinos in Macau. The venue accounted for more than 90 per cent of annual profit.

Chairman and managing director Jay Chun said: “2025 proved to be a challenging year for the group, presenting both opportunities and threats to the group’s businesses,”

The company’s electronic gaming equipment and systems segment recorded a significant decline, with revenue dropping 45.3 per cent year-on-year. Paradise said this was partly due to lower sales of its live multi-game (LMG) terminals, as customers delayed purchases ahead of the launch of its new Black Coral system, expected this year.

Despite the weaker results, the board declared a final dividend of HKD0.025 per share in line with its shareholder return strategy. The payment, subject to approval at the May annual general meeting, is scheduled for June 25, with total dividends for the year reaching HKD0.10 per share.

Looking ahead, the company is betting on new products and international expansion. It pointed to upcoming launches, including the Black Coral system and its new igaming brand Infernoplay.
