The Philippines.- PhilWeb Corporation has entered into a new agreement with Travellers International Hotel Group, operator of Newport World Resorts, to provide platform and content services for its online gaming operations. Under the deal, it will support the online platform, NWRPlay.
The agreement includes platform technology, system support, gaming content integration, as well as marketing and operational services, subject to regulatory approvals. It’s PhilWeb’s third deal in three weeks as it positions itself as a technology and services provider for land-based operators expanding into regulated online gaming.
PhilWeb said the deal forms part of its broader initiative to expand its content aggregation and platform services within the regulated online gaming ecosystem, following its recent accreditation under PAGCOR’s framework for affiliates and support service providers. The company has recently announced deals with Hann Casino Resort, Okada Manila and NUSTAR.
Travellers International operates Newport World Resorts, an integrated resort complex in Pasay that includes a casino, hotels, retail outlets and entertainment facilities. The property also runs domestic online gaming operations.
