Success Universe Group, an investor in Macau’s Ponte 16, posted a gross profit increase of 35 per cent.
Macau.- Success Universe Group, the investor and operator of Ponte 16 , has announced its financial results for full-year 2023. The company posted gross profit of HK$16.8m (US$2.2m) in 2023, up 35 per cent compared to 2022.
Revenue was down 11 per cent to HK$101.9m (US$13m), compared to the HK$114.8m (US$14.7m) in 2022. The profit attributable to owners for the year ended December 31 2023 was approximately HK$169.3m (US$21.6m) versus a loss of approximately HK$287.1m (US$36.7m) in the previous year.
Ponte 16 recorded an adjusted EBITDA of HK$334.1m (US$42.7m). The average occupancy rate of Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 reached approximately 83 per cent in 2023, compared to 48 per cent in 2022.
Success Universe said the casino of Ponte 16 had 109 gaming tables in operation: 103 mass tables and 6 high-limit tables.
