Macau.- Sands China has announced a series of leadership changes. Raymond Voon, previously senior vice president of customer services at Galaxy Entertainment Group, has been named senior vice president (SVP) of marketing strategy and loyalty
The company also confirmed the departure of executive vice president and chief customer officer Virginia Lam, who leaves the company after a 15 years “to pursue other interests and opportunities”.
“Virginia has been an invaluable member of our leadership team and has played a pivotal role in the successful launch of many of our properties, as well as establishing a strong team in market development,” stated Sands China CEO, Grant Chum.
Philip Lam and Kitty Chui will jointly oversee the sales and service functions in market development and premium mass service, while John Burger has been named as SVP of resort operations. Burger will oversee hotel operations; customer experience design and innovation; meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE); and transportation.
Several team members have also been promoted, including Wing Ao, who becomes senior vice president of Market Development for Asia/Non-Asia, and Eddie Lou, the new vice president of Market Development for The Parisian and The Londoner. Luisa Lei has been appointed senior vice president of Business Development. Sean McCreery, Sands China executive vice president for operations, will depart after 10 years.
