Kitty Chung Kit Yi will join the audit committee.
Macau.- Sands China has announced the appointment of Kitty Chung Kit Yi as independent non-executive director, effective today (October 16). The newly-appointed director will be a member of the audit committee.
The company said that Chung brings extensive experience in auditing, accounting, and financial management, having previously served as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her appointment is expected to enhance the company’s governance and oversight capabilities.
Chung will have no specific term of appointment but is subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at the annual general meeting at least once every three years in accordance with the articles of association of the company. She will receive US$270,000 per year but will not receive any fee as a member of the Sands China audit committee.

Chung retired as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in July 2023. According to the filing, she is currently an independent non-executive director of Hong Kong-listed HKBN Ltd, which controls Hong Kong Broadband Network, a provider of home Internet broadband and Wi-Fi services. She is also an independent non-executive director of Goodman Logistics (HK).
Chung holds a bachelor degree in economics from Monash University in Australia. She is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
