Sands China has also announced a salary increase.
Macau.- SJM Resorts and Sands China have followed Galaxy Entertainment Group, Wynn Macau, Melco and MGM China in confirming details of the usual new year one-month bonus for staff.
SJM, which runs casinos on the Macau peninsula,as well as the Grand Lisboa Palace resort in Cotai, said it would pay its Special Discretionary Bonuses to all eligible employees on January 30.
Sands China has also confirmed that it will pay the annual bonus to non-management staff who have been with the company for at least one year on February 6. It also said it would increase salaries by between 2 and 4 per cent for eligible workers from March 1. The move will benefit “99 per cent of Sands China’s close to 28,000 team members”.
Wynn Macau will pay bonuses on January 30, MGM China on January 21, Melco by the end of January and Galaxy on February 9.
