South Korea.- Paradise Co has shared its financial results for March. The operator has reported casino sales of KRW49.5bn (US$32.7m). That’s a decline of 39.6 per cent year-on-year and 44 per cent from February.
Table-game sales were KRW44bn (US$30.1m), down 43 per cent year-on-year, and a 47 per cent decline compared to the previous month. The table drop amounted to KRW587.74bn (US$401m), up 9.7 per cent on February but flat compared to a year ago.
For the first three months of 2026, cumulative casino revenue reached KRW229.67bn (US$158.8m), slightly above the KRW222.92bn (US$152.4m) reported for the same period in 2025, despite the weaker March performance.
Paradise Co operates four casinos: Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan, and Paradise City, near the main international airport serving Seoul.
A planned new hotel in Seoul has a target opening for 2028. The 18-floor hotel will have approximately 200 suites and five basement levels offering services for foreign VIPs as part of a strategy to attract more international high-rollers. The cost of the development is estimated between KRW500bn (US$360m) and KRW550bn (US$400m).
Paradise Co has recently approved a new co-CEO leadership. Choi Jong-hwan, who has been CEO since March 2024, will be joined by former COO Lim Jun-shin.
