South Korea.- Paradise Co has shared its financial results for full-year 2025. The operator has reported casino sales of KRW900.5bn (US$623.6m). That’s a rise of 9.9 per cent year-on-year.
Table-game sales were KRW846.3bn (US$585.7m), up 10.3 per cent year-on-year, while machine game sales were KRW54.2bn (US$37.5m), a 4.1 per cent increase. Paradise Co’s aggregate table drop was KRW7.15 trillion, up 4.1 per cent compared to 2024.
As for December’s figures, the operator reported casino sales of KRW75.4bn (US$52.2m), down 5.4 per cent from November but 7.6 per cent ahead compared with the same month in 2024. Monthly table game revenue came in at KRW69.8bn ($48.3m), 7.8 per cent behind November but up 5.2 per cent year-on-year. Slot machine revenue reached KRW5.6bn (US$3.9m), up 40.3 per cent sequentially and 49.3 per cent higher compared with December 2024.
Paradise Co operates four casinos: Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan, and Paradise City, near the main international airport serving Seoul. It plans to begin construction on a new hotel in Seoul with a target opening date in 2028.
The 18-floor hotel will have approximately 200 suites and five basement levels offering services for foreign VIPs as part of a strategy to attract more international high-rollers. The cost of the development is estimated between KRW500bn (US$360m) and KRW550bn (US$400m).
Earlier this week, Paradise Co announced that it would complete its acquisition of the West Wing at the Grand Hyatt Incheon today (January 6). The KRW210bn (US$145.2m) transaction, which has faced delays since being announced in September, marks a strategic expansion of the company’s hotel infrastructure adjacent to its flagship Paradise City integrated resort.
