South Korea.- Paradise Co has shared its financial results for September. The operator has reported casino sales of KRW64.03bn (US$46.6m). That’s a rise of 4.3 per cent year-on-year but 20.4 per cent behind August’s figure.
Table-game sales were KRW59.01bn (US$42.9m), up 3.4 per cent year-on-year, but down 22.4 per cent compared to the previous month. Table games accounted for more than 90 per cent of total gaming revenue. Machine game sales were KRW5.01 (US$3.6m), a 16.5 per cent increase year-on-year and up 12.8 per cent compared to August.
For the first nine months of the year, cumulative casino revenue reached KRW673.7bn (US$491m), a 9.5 per cent increase compared to January-September 2024. Table games generated KRW633.95bn (US$461m), up 10.1 per cent year-on-year, while the machine gaming segment increased by 0.9 per cent to KRW39.75bn (US$28.9m).

Paradise Co operates four casinos: Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan, and Paradise City, near the main international airport serving Seoul. It plans to begin construction on a new hotel in Seoul with a target opening date in 2028.
The 18-floor hotel will have approximately 200 suites and five basement levels offering services for foreign VIPs as part of a strategy to attract more international high-rollers. The cost of the development is estimated between KRW500 (US$360m) and KRW550 (US$400m).
