Macau.- Success Universe Group Limited has reported its financial results for FY2025, posting revenue of HK$59.74m (US$7.62m), up 16.3 per cent year-on-year. Gross profit rose to about HK$18.7m (US$2.38m).
However, the group swung to a net loss of HK$410.4m (US$52.37m), compared with a net profit of HK$93.39m (US$11.91m) in 2024. This was mainly due to the impairment loss on its interests in Ponte 16, following the closure of the satellite casino there in November 2025. The group’s share of losses from associates tied to Ponte 16 amounted to HK$3.8m (US$0.48m).
The casino was shut following changes to legislation, which required all satellite casinos to close by December 31. While Success Universe had intended to keep the site open until the deadline, concession-holder SJM terminated the agreement ahead of schedule.
No interim or final dividend was declared for the year.
