All online gaming service providers must meet new accreditation requirements or face decommissioning of their systems.

The Philippines.- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has set July 31, 2026, as the deadline for all business-to-business (B2B) providers serving the country’s online gaming sector to secure new accreditation under its revised regulatory framework. The updated framework applies to gaming affiliates, support service providers, content suppliers and other B2B entities

According to a memorandum issued by PAGCOR’s Electronic Gaming Licensing Department on May 21, operators and suppliers that fail to comply with the new accreditation requirements will have their electronic gaming systems, online gaming platforms, games and gaming equipment decommissioned starting August 1.

To obtain accreditation, applicants must complete several requirements, including payment of application fees, submission of documentary and probity requirements, system inspections and testing, as well as posting a performance cash deposit for each accredited entity. Providers that submit accreditation applications by May 31 will be allowed to continue servicing Gaming System Administrators (GSAs) and integrated resort licencees during a temporary transition period ending July 31.

PAGCOR said the move is aimed at “strengthening regulatory oversight, improving transparency and formalising the country’s rapidly expanding digital gaming supply chain.”
