The Star Entertainment appoints new non-executive director

Brooke Lindsay is an experienced global legal and governance executive set to strengthen regulatory, risk and compliance oversight.

Australia.- The Star Entertainment Group has announced the appointment of Brooke Lindsay as a non-executive director, subject to regulatory and ministerial approvals. Lindsay will initially join as an observer to the Board and transition into the non-executive director role once all required approvals have been secured.

Lindsay has over two decades of international experience across legal, risk and governance functions in sectors including technology, telecommunications and investment. She most recently served as Group Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at multinational telecommunications company e&. There she led major compliance and governance transformation programmes. Lindsay has also been recognised in consecutive years in the Chambers Global General Counsel rankings, The Star noted.

Chairman Soohyung Kim said: “I would like to welcome Brooke to the Board and look forward to working with her to assist in delivering our strategic objectives and creating a sustainable future for The Star,” he said.
