The Australian casino operator’s CFO has already departed.
Australia.- The Star Entertainment’s chief financial officer, Frank Krile resigned from his position at the end of last month and chief operating officer Jeannie Mok will step down at the end of January 2026. The company said it has begun a search for a new CFO.
Commenting on the departures, CEO Bruce Mathieson Jr said: “I would like to thank Frank and Jeannie for their significant contribution to the business and particularly their assistance in progressing our remediation plan. I wish them both well in their future endeavours.”
The Star Entertainment Group had already announced a series of board changes after the approval of Bally’s AU$300m (US$193m) investment. Bruce Mathieson Jr has been appointed chief executive officer and managing director following the departure of Steve McCann.
A filing on December 29 said he will earn a basic annual salary of AU$800,000 ($535,000). His appointment remains subject to outstanding regulatory and ministerial approvals in New South Wales and Queensland
