The Enforcement Directorate detained three executives of Gameskraft following raids in Delhi and Bengaluru.
India.- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested the three founders of online gaming platform Gameskraft as part of a probe into alleged money laundering and fraud related to real-money gaming operations. The executives detained were Deepak Singh, Prithvi Raj Singh and Vikas Taneja.
According to authorities, Deepak Singh and Prithvi Raj Singh were taken into custody in the Delhi-NCR region, while Taneja was arrested in Bengaluru. The arrests followed a series of raids conducted on May 7 across 17 locations in Karnataka and Delhi-NCR linked to Gameskraft, its founders and employees. During the operations, investigators reportedly seized documents and other materials.
The investigation was launched after multiple police complaints made allegations of cheating and fraud tied to real-money gaming platforms, including the RummyCulture and the rummytime apps. Authorities also said several complaints are linked to suicides involving users who allegedly lost money through the platforms.
