The Lucky Day draw gets a weekly schedule and prize-splitting framework.
United Arab Emirates.- The UAE Lottery has rolled updated its Lucky Day draw with a new weekly format, new prize structure and revised rules on how jackpots and second-tier prizes are awarded. The changes, effective from tomorrow (December 6), come as the operator continues to expand its product portfolio following its first anniversary.
Lucky Day now has an AED30m (US$8,1m) jackpot and a AED5m (US$1,3m) second prize, both of which will be shared among winners if multiple tickets match required combinations. Previously, only the AED100m (US$27.2m) top prize was subject to splitting.
The draw now takes place every Saturday at 8.30pm UAE time instead of the previous biweekly schedule. Ticket sales pause for a brief 90-minute window ahead of the livestreamed draw and resume immediately afterwards. Players can buy entries for single or consecutive draws, with each AED50 (US$13) ticket generating a unique Lucky Chance ID.
The revamped format also introduces updated payout caps across lower tiers, including a AED100,000 (US$27,220) third-tier prize, AED1,000 (US$270) fourth-tier wins, and AED100 (US$27) for the most frequent outcomes. Each entry can win only one prize per draw, except when a player also wins the Lucky Chance raffle.
The operator claims an average return-to-player rate of 42.62 per cent (excluding VAT). The adjustments aim to create more frequent wins and expand engagement.
