UFC to return to Galaxy Macau in May

The mixed martial arts promotion will stage a three-day Fight Night weekend at Galaxy Arena.

Macau.- The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to return to Macau at the end of May with a Fight Night event at Galaxy Arena. The event is part of a multi-year strategic partnership with Galaxy Entertainment Group.

The three-day programme will run from May 28 to 30 at the 16,000-seat Galaxy Arena at the Galaxy International Convention Centre at Galaxy Macau. The event will open with the first rounds of Road to UFC on May 28 and 29, followed by UFC Fight Night on May 30. The fight card has yet to be announced.

The May event will be the first staged under a four-year, multi-event agreement signed in September. Galaxy Macau will host three UFC Fight Night events between 2026 and 2029. The partnership also positions the resort as a recurring venue for Road to UFC, the promotion’s Asia-Pacific talent development tournament that offers emerging fighters a pathway to UFC contracts.

UFC’s return follows the sold-out Fight Night: Yan vs. Figueiredo card held in November 2024, which marked a comeback to Macau after a decade-long absence. Each Fight Night in Macau is expected to be accompanied by a week-long programme of fan-focused activities, including meet-and-greets and appearances by high-profile fighters.
