Travellers International and Suntrust target a third-quarter 2026 launch.
The Philippines.- The construction of Manila’s Westside City integrated resort has reached 75 per cent completion, according to global consulting firm Arcadis.
Arcadis said it has finalised fitting-out work on key areas, concluding a 64-month engagement that began in May 2020. “Together, we have brought this landmark development to the brink of completion, overcoming unprecedented challenges along the way,” said Joseph Atabug, project director for Arcadis Philippines.
Led by Travellers International Hotel Group and Suntrust Resort Holdings, the Westside City resort is will be a new flagship property at Parañaque’s Entertainment City. Suntrust recently acquired a 40 per cent stake in Westside Bayshore Holding Corporation. Travellers International president and CEO Nilo Thaddeus Rodriguez confirmed that the partners have committed up to US$450m in additional funding to help bring the project to completion for a 2026 opening.
