Wynn Al Marjan Island hits major construction milestones

The 305-metre tower has reached its 70th floor, with facade installation and interior works nearing completion.

United Arab Emirates.- Construction of Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE’s first integrated resort, continues to advance. Wynn Resorts has said that the 305-metre tower has reached the 70th floor.

According to the latest update, installation of the tower exterior is progressing fast, with 73 per cent of facade panels in place. The resort’s low-rise structures are also nearing completion, with combined concrete and steel works 97 per cent finished.

Structural work for 1,526 of 1,530 planned accommodations has been completed, representing 99.7 per cent of the inventory. Interior fit-outs are underway in about 98 per cent of units, Wynn said.

Located on more than 60 hectares, the resort will feature 1,217 rooms, 297 Enclave suites, two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes and 10 Marina Estates. Mechanical, electrical and finishing works continue to progress across the site.

Wynn has revealed early details of dining and entertainment. The resort will house 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, including a French-American steakhouse by Alain Ducasse and Delilah, the supper-club concept from Wynn Las Vegas developed with The h.wood Group.

Beyond accommodations and dining, the integrated resort will include a beach club, spa, a skylit luxury retail promenade, The Showroom theatre, 12 pools, a 420-metre white-sand beach and a deep-water marina built to accommodate superyachts.
