The integrated resort project remains on track for a Spring 2027 opening.
United Arab Emirates.- Wynn Al Marjan Island has reached a major construction milestone with the topping out of the main tower at 283 metres. Developers Wynn Resorts and Marjan said the tower has reached its highest structural concrete point, 27 months after foundation works began.
With 70 floors, the tower will reach its full architectural height of 352 metres once the spire is installed in 2026. That will make it the tallest structure in the northern United Arab Emirates. The resort is expected to open in Spring 2027.
All 1,530 guest accommodations have reached full structural completion, with interior fit-outs underway in 1,504 rooms and suites. Facade installation on the main tower is 79 per cent complete, while surrounding low-rise buildings have achieved 99 per cent structural completion. ALEC Holdings is now focused on interior finishes and building services.
Once completed, Wynn Al Marjan Island will span more than 60 hectares. The resort will include 1,217 rooms, 297 enclave suites, two royal apartments, four garden townhomes and 10 marina estates. It will have 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a beach club, spa, retail areas, multiple event venues, 12 swimming pools, a 420-metre beachfront and a deep-water marina.
To date, the project has used more than 438,000 cubic metres of concrete and involved over 18,000 people in construction.
