United Arab Emirates.- Wynn Resorts is stepping up preparations for the UAE’s first legal casino, Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah. Its launched a recruitment campaign for the US$5bn project, which is expected to to open in early 2027
The company hired 52 new team members in Q2, bringing the staff count to 100, primarily in senior executive, management, and administrative roles. Wynn aims to expand this to 330 by December 31, with a larger hiring phase planned for 2026, targeting over 7,500 jobs by the resort’s completion.
Roles include pit managers, dealers, and table operations managers with expertise in casino games like blackjack and poker, nightlife planners and loyalty and marketing executives for domestic and international markets.
A key focus is recruiting vice presidents of casino marketing to cultivate a VIP player base across the Middle East and North Africa, with teams based in cities like Dubai, Riyadh, Doha and Cairo. Additional roles will target high-net-worth individuals and influencers in Asia (China, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia), Europe, and the Americas.
The resort, developed in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding, is under construction with a 70-storey tower currently at its 45th floor. The beachside property will be the tallest in Wynn’s portfolio and will have 22 restaurants, beach clubs, a marina, a spa and entertainment.
Wynn has acquired an additional 70 acres of land in Ras Al Khaimah, for possible future expansion plans.
